Firefox won't load the internet, but IE will.?

I try to open FF and it wont load the net but IE will. Its been working until just a few hours ago. It just says cannot display page. Ive tried uninstall and intalling back.. Help anyone?

do you need to use a proxy to access the internet? perhaps IE has been set up with the proxy you need but firefox hasn't..

Had the very same problem. It started when Firefox auto updated itself with a buggy version, I forgot which one, 2.0.0.4 or 2.0.0.5 if I'm not mistaken.

I'm now using version 2.0.0.7 of Firefox, and it seems to be working fine so far. Try updating your version of Firefox.
