If you still have the problem in the morning, call your ISP and see if any routers are down.
Perhaps the websites are down or the servers are busy.
If you deleted all the traces and cookies, and the websites are not down, then they should work.
You could have spyware on your machine stopping the browsers from accessing the sites. Make sure you scan for spyware regularly.
I just tried and the websites worked for me. Perhaps trying to uninstall and reinstall the browsers would help. Just make sure you don't delete them both at once...You need a browser to download another browser.
Here are the links:
IE7:

Firefox:

If this does not work, try a different browser alltogether. I personally use Safari, which is the mac browser, and I am running Vista. Safari is just as fast as firefox, and It loads videos and sites with nooo problems.
If you are interested in trying it, follow this link:

Hope this helps!
Good luck =D

If you are still having issues, check with your ISP and your connection. Usually the technical support at your ISP can help you diagnose what is causing the issue.
Since it is just some sites, for no reason, it would appear you have become infected with a bug... Your malware programs and anti virus program missed it... If you can connect with an online anti malware/anti virus site, I would suggest you go to Housecall from Trend Micro and run their online virus and malware checking program..... http://www.housecall.trendmicro.com .... Probably will take a little bit for the program to run (depends on your connection speed) but it will find any bad guys on your system and allow you to delete them.
